2005 SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAM
|
|
|
The Norristown Department of Recreation announces its summer playground program. The program will begin June 27,2005 and continue for six weeks. The camps will be closed July 4. The summer program will be held at four locations throughout the Municipality
.

All Saints Church
Elmwood Park (Bandshell)

The children can register June 11 &18 at the Bandshell in Elmwood Park from 10:00-12 noon. The fee for the program is $100.Per child and this includes a required summer T-Shirt. Trips and swimming (if applicable) are additional. Amounts for trips vary, the specific amounts will be distributed before trips. The program is for all Norristown children ages 5-13 and runs 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Monday thru Friday. (Please note that all trips are every Wednesday and Friday, in which case the start and end times will often be different.)
IF TRIPS ARE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER, THERE IS NO CAMP THAT DAY.

This years program will also consist of a variety of community programs and presentations. All playground leaders have had previous experience working with children. Proof of age is required for children who are 5 years old. All children registered are eligible for a free lunch A late fee of $25 is added after June 19th.
NO REGISTRATION REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER FIRST DAY OF CAMP.
