The Administration Department is responsible for overseeing all departments within the Norristown Municipality and works to provide the residents of Norristown a progressive, efficient, economical and responsive government. This department is responsible for preparing and setting of the Municipal Council's agenda and general correspondence.

Norristown Council Provides Help with Unwanted Solicitations
Residents who are fed up with finding advertisements and other unwanted solicitations scattered across sidewalks, streets and yards now have some hope.

Norristown council recently passed an ordinance that allows you to place a sign on your property that reads “No Solicitation or Handbills.” There is no permit required for the sign, but they must be no larger than 18 inches by 6 inches in area.

If, after you erect a sign and still receive unwanted materials, call the Norristown Code Enforcement Department at 610-270-0441 to ask for help.
