NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Municipality of Norristown’s Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a Public Hearing on the following appeal(s):
(21-16) Special Exception – Christ Ambassadors Ministries Inc., 4019 Cardin Place, Eagleville, PA 19403
For property Located at: 105 W. Brown Street
Property Owner: Christ Ambassadors Ministries INC
The applicant is seeking a Special Exception under Article V - R-2, Section 320-41.C.6, Special Exceptions to allow for a house of worship in the R-2 Residence Zoning District.

(22-16) Variance and Special Exception – Norristown Area School District, 401 N. Whitehall Road, Norristown, PA 19403
For Property Located at: 1518 Arch Street and 1520 Arch Street
Property Owner: Norristown Area School District
The applicant is seeking a variance from Article XXVI- Off-Street Parking and Loading, Section 320-301.A.3, Application and Interpretation. The applicant is also seeking a Variance from Section 320-304.A of the same Article. Additionally, the applicant is requesting a Special Exception under Article V - R-2, Section 320-41.C.7, Special Exceptions to combine two lots to enhance roadway access to Arch Street from Hancock Elementary School in the R-2 Residence Zoning District.

Property Owner: Virginia Smith and The Francis J. Smith Terminable Interest Residuary Trust
The applicant is seeking a Variance from Article XII - DR, Section 320-116.A Use Regulations to allow for granite fabrication and storage in the DR Downtown Riverfront Zoning District.

The applicant(s) as well as all persons interested and /or wishing to be heard in this matter must be present for the Zoning Hearing Board Meeting to be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Municipal Hall, 235 East Airy Street, Norristown, PA. Persons with a disability who wish to attend the above referenced hearing, and require an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodation to participate in the hearing, please call (610) 270-0420.
The owner of the property must be present, or send with the applicant, documentation authorizing the applicant to represent him/her, such as a power of attorney or an agreement of sale or lease agreement. The lease must specifically permit the application before the Board. There should be a clause stating that the application is permitted or at least that the lease is contingent upon the successful completion of the Zoning Application process. A corporate entity must be represented by an attorney or at least have an officer with authority (i.e., the President of the organization with specific authority to act on behalf of the corporation) present or a majority shareholder.
