Pairings: Photographs from the Collections of the HIstorical Society of Montgomery County
The Historical Society of Montgomery County has been collecting photographs from around Montgomery County since the organization formed in 1881. Its Photograph Collection now includes tens of thousands of photographs that cover a wide span of events, people, and places from around the county. To highlight this collection and illustrate its breadth, curator Susan Pavlik and archivist Nancy Sullivan have pulled together pairs of photos from the collection that work in tandem to tell stories about the county. Pairings: Photographs from the Collections of the Historical Society of Montgomery County features 25 pairings of photographs, as well as other unique photographs from the collections.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
The Historical Society of Montgomery County is open Mondays and Thursday from 10am to 5pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1pm to 8pm, and on most Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
