Tuesday, September 4 through Saturday, September 29

Library Card Sign-Up Month – all day – Sign up for a library card and you will receive a free book and bookmark, plus be entered in a drawing to win a $25 Amazon gift card! New registrations only. For kids ages 0-12.

 

Saturday, September 8

LEGO PLUS – 10:30 am – Imagine, create, and build using a variety of building sets, including LEGO, K’Nex, Straws and Connectors, and more! For kids in grades K-6. Drop in. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Monday, September 10

Board Games – 2:00 pm – Bring a friend and play a few of your favorite board games. For children ages 5-12. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Drop in. Norristown area schools day off activity.

 

Tuesdays, September 11 through December 11

Pre-K Adventures – 10:30 am – Activities are aimed at developing skills for Kindergarten, with stories, crafts, fun movement songs, and hands-on activities. For children ages 3-1/2 to 5 and their caregivers. Drop in.

Stay and Play! – 11:00 am – Open play time in our Children’s Learning Center following story time. Your child can play with our fun educational toys, and you can meet other caregivers. All ages with a caregiver. Drop in.

 

Wednesdays, September 12 through December 12

Baby Lap Rap – 10:30 am - Simple stories, new and traditional songs, rhymes, shaker eggs and rhythm sticks for your baby and you! Ages 0-24 months with a caregiver. Drop in.

Stay and Play! – 11:00 am – Open play time in our Children’s Learning Center following story time. Your child can play with our fun educational toys, and you can meet other caregivers. All ages with a caregiver. Drop in.

 

Thursdays, September 13 through December 13

Toddler Tickle Tales – 10:30 am – Stories, songs, rhymes, and movement activities for young preschoolers. Ages 2 to 3 with a caregiver. Drop in.

Twilight Tales – 7:00 pm - Family storytime! Our activities will be a mixture of fun and learning with stories, songs and an occasional craft and parachute play. For ages 0-7 with a caregiver. Drop in.

 

Wednesday, September 19

Talk Like a Pirate Day – 2:00 pm – Ahoy, mateys! Come in for some pirate themed crafts and activities, and learn some pirate lingo. For children ages 5-12. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Drop in. Norristown area schools day off activity.

On July 31, 2018 Plymouth Ambulance and Norristown Fire Department conducted joint UTV training. Members from both Departments trained on incline ascents and descents, winch use for evacuation and overall UTV safety and operations.
