Live Facebook Chat

Municipality of Norristown will host a live Facebook discussion on Friday, April 6th with Municipal Administrator Crandall Jones at 10am to answer questions about upcoming development, current projects or resident concerns.

MontCo Comic Fest 2018

Montco Comic Fest 2018 will be held at the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Join us for gaming, cosplay, workshops, vendors & more! There will be plenty of things to see and do for any interest and age.

We've partnered with the Norristown Area School District to feature a graphic novel contest in which middle and high school students will compete for prizes in a juried competition. Winners will be announced at the Mont Co Comic Fest, so make sure to attend!

Elmwood Park Zoo - Free Admission to Residents

Free Admission for Norristown Borough Residents
Elmwood Park Zoo extends our gratitude to our loyal Norristown residents by offering FREE admission to Norristown Borough residents on the first Sunday of each month beginning at 2 PM.

Residents of Norristown Borough that present valid photo I.D. may enter the zoo free of charge after 2 PM on the following dates:

Adults must show photo I.D. as proof of residency. Children must be accompanied by a Borough resident. Non-residents will be charged normal admission rates. Borough residents are defined by living within the following four boundaries:

east of Forrest Avenue

south of Johnson Highway

west of Sandy Hill Road/E Fornance Street

north of the Schuylkill River

Norristown Run Club has is weekly meeting of local community members that have a passion for running and positive community engagement. We share training ideas, accomplishments and comradery. On July 31, 2018 Plymouth Ambulance and Norristown Fire Department conducted joint UTV training. Members from both Departments trained on incline ascents and descents, winch use for evacuation and overall UTV safety and operations.
