Norristown Residents receive special discounts with participating community partners; 

 

 

Elmwood Park Zoo extends gratitude to loyal Norristown residents  by offering FREE admission to Norristown residents on the first Sunday of each month beginning at 2 PM.

Residents of Norristown that present valid photo I.D. may enter the Zoo free of charge after 2 PM on the following dates:

  • April 2
  • May 6
  • June 4
  • July 2
  • August 6
  • September 3
  • October 1
  • November 5
  • December 3 


Adults must show photo I.D. as proof of residency. Children must be accompanied by a Borough resident. Non-residents will be charged normal admission rates. Borough residents are defined by living within the following four boundaries: 

  • east of Forrest Avenue

  • south of Johnson Highway

  • west of Sandy Hill Road/E Fornance Street

  • north of the Schuylkill River

Theatre Horizon located at 401 Dekalb Street offers FREE tickets to Norristown residents for its 2017 season.  Tickets can be reserved by calling the Box Office at 610-283-2230.  All tickets are subject to availability.
