A Beneficial Understanding

Grace Williams

"I signed up for the Citizens Leadership Academy as a Norristown home owner and parent seeking a better understanding of how our tax dollars are spent, but I walked away with so much more.

I learned about every aspect of our community from governing and policing, to budgets and planning, to education and community initiatives.

I was fortunate to spend time each week listening to the information shared by each of the department representatives and counsel members. I appreciated the interactive nature as well as the feedback and questions from my classmates. Everyone in our community, whether long time residents or those new to town, can benefit from attending the CLA."

"I truly enjoyed my Citizen's Leadership Academy experience. The opportunity to connect with our civic leaders and gain insights into their strategies, accomplishments and challenges, helped me to become a more informed citizen and develop a genuine appreciation for the ongoing efforts and passion to make Norristown a great place to live."
