The Public Works Department, led by Director Thomas N. Odenigbo, P.E., CFM, CSI took on bridge work repairs at several sites around the Norristown. Their ingenuity provided cost saving solutions to the Municipality. The work was completed in-house by the public works crew pictured above on the bridge at Markley Street. The crew constructed floating docks over four feet of water saving the expense of pumps, and the building a cofferdam to replace and repair bricks under the bridge. This projects spanned over a two week period.
