NORRISTOWN- The Norristown Fire Department announced today their 6th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner drive for Norristown families in need. Almost 100 Norristown families will find comfort that first responders will again be providing them meals for a bountiful Thanksgiving this year.
Fire Chief Tom O’Donnell has coordinated this event every year after recognizing a need in the community.
“The Fire Department looks for opportunities to give back. It’s an initiative we hold close to our hearts,” said Chief O’Donnell.
Full turkey dinners with all the trimmings will be delivered to selected families by program sponsor ServPro of Norristown on Nov. 24.
