Municipal Council on April 20, 2021 authorized the advertisement of Ordinance 21-06. A vote by council on this ordinance is expected in mid-June.
Ordinance 21-06: This ordinance proposes to create the Norristown Stormwater Authority to provide for stormwater system planning, management and implementation.
Municipal Council on May 19, 2021 approved the advertisement of Ordinance 21-09. A vote by council on this ordinance is expected in June.
Ordinance 21-09: This ordinance proposes to update language in Chapter 278 (Streets and sidewalks) of the Municipal Code.
(Per §41.4-04 of the Municipal Charter, advertisement of an ordinance shall be published at least once in one or more newspapers of general circulation in the Municipality not more than 60 days nor less than seven days prior to the Council meeting scheduled for consideration of the ordinance.)
