The 4th of July parade and activities are back for 2022! 4of july flyer  2022

Due to COVID, the 4th of has been on hold, but we're coming back better than ever with a parade, concerts and, of course, fireworks. We are looking for people, community groups and others to participate. Please fill out this participation form if you want to be included in this fun day! Please register before June 24.

10 a.m.- July 4th ParadeFourth Parade Final Route (1)

Get ready to line the streets and watch Norristown show its patriotism as the annual Fourth of July Parade makes its way from St. Francis Church to Downtown Norristown! Bands, drumlines, and other groups will make this a great start to the celebration! 

Parade Route: Start at St. Francis Church on West Marshall Street and proceed eastbound to Astor Street. Down Astor Street to Airy Street. Over the Airy Street bridge down to Arch Street. Down Arch to Main Street, end at DeKalb.

3 p.m.- Concerts and fun

In the afternoon, head to Elmwood Park on Harding Boulevard for the Party in the Park! Live music, food vendors and beer garden.

Dusk- Fireworks!

An afternoon of fun as the community celebrates the nation's independence ending with Norristown's Annual Fireworks Show! (Show starts after dark in the park vicinity.)
