NORRISTOWN- Due to additional construction activities at Norristown Municipal Hall, 235 E. Airy St., most access to the building is now restricted to contractors and members of the Norristown Police Department only and should not be visited to file police reports in person.
Parking for anyone attempting to do this is extremely limited, and driveways will need to stay clear for Police personnel.
Effective Sept. 26, 2022, anyone that needs to file a police report and needs to do so in person should report to Municipal Hall’s temporary administrative offices at 1700 Markley St., Suite 104 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to do so. This building closure to the public is expected to last for the next two months.
Members of the public who cannot make it to 1700 Markley are urged to call 911 or 610-270-0977 if they need to file a report, and an officer will contact them by phone or respond to their residence to speak with them.
Anyone attempting to access 235 E. Airy St. will be informed of this practice and asked to follow the above guidelines. We apologize for the inconvenience this is presenting, and hope to have more normal operations resume as soon as possible.
