Who is responsible for maintaining sidewalks?

Maintenance of sidewalks is the responsibility of the adjacent property owner. Sidewalks shall be kept free of obstructions and trash at all times. Property owners are required to shovel their sidewalks and make necessary repairs as required to meet all applicable Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and construction standards.
